My adventure is getting closer…only 11 days until take off!
I’m almost done with my gear and my planning and although I feel very stressed, I’m very close to the point where my only thought is “it’ll be fine”. In the end, you just need to make a decision and be satisfied with that decision.
One of my easiest choices I’ve made is the camera. As I’m gonna be outside for a few months in all different weathers you can imagine, I knew I had to search for a waterproof camera (hey – I wanna show you the rainy side of my adventure too…) that’s not sensitive to pretty rough handling. I’d heard about the Olympus Tough TG-3, and was really happy to discover it had been even more developed and as soon as i read about its big brother Olympus Tough TG-4, I realized that was the one I had to bring it along the trail!
Olympus Tough TG-4 is 15 meters waterproof (prepare for rainy pics!), chockproof to 2,1 meters (which means I can drop it without breaking it), 100 kilos crushproof and freeze proof down to -10 degrees celsius. On top of that, it has a 16 megapixel image sensor, takes perfect pictures at night and has a built-in Wi-Fi for remote shooting and wireless sharing. This camera has to be made for this kind of adventures – right? I can’t wait to share my adventure with you guys (make sure to follow me on Instagram too)!
